China Moses in Kronberg

China Moses is an American jazz and soul singer, born in Los Angeles in 1978 and raised in Paris. Her recordings range across vocal jazz, soul and R&B; key albums include the Dinah Washington tribute This One’s for Dinah, made with pianist Raphaël Lemonnier, as well as Crazy Blues and Nightintales. The concerts built around This One’s for Dinah paired her vocals with Lemonnier’s piano-led arrangements, establishing a repertoire rooted in jazz and blues standards. She later brought songs from Crazy Blues and Nightintales to clubs, theatres and festivals, including Jazz in Marciac and the Montreux Jazz Festival.
