A Thousand Horses is an American country-rock band formed in Nashville in 2010. Southern rock guitars, country songwriting and vocal harmonies shape their sound; they are best known for the song “Smoke” and their debut album, Southernality. In 2015, A Thousand Horses joined Darius Rucker’s Southern Style Tour and opened for The Rolling Stones at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta. That year also brought the band’s debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry.
