Zhang Zhen Yue is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter, guitarist and rapper of Amis heritage, born in 1974 and also known as A-Yue. He plays Mandarin-language rock and pop shaped by hip-hop; “Ai Wo Bie Zou” (“Love Me, Don’t Go”), “Zi You” (“Freedom”), “Si Nian Shi Yi Zhong Bing” (“Missing You Is an Illness”) and “Zai Jian” (“Goodbye”) are among his signature songs. In 2008 he formed SuperBand with Lo Ta-yu, Jonathan Lee and Wakin Chau. In 2009, Zhang Zhen Yue went on the SuperBand World Tour with his three bandmates. The first concert took place at Taipei Arena, and the itinerary later reached Hong Kong Coliseum before farewell concerts ended the SuperBand project in 2010.
