ABC in Hereford

ABC are an English pop band formed in Sheffield in 1980, led by singer Martin Fry. Their polished synth-pop and sophisti-pop found its clearest expression on the debut album The Lexicon of Love, which includes “Poison Arrow,” “The Look of Love” and “All of My Heart”; later hits include “When Smokey Sings.” ABC toured the UK on the 2008 Steel City Tour with the Human League and Heaven 17. The following year, they performed The Lexicon of Love in full at the Royal Albert Hall, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra under conductor Anne Dudley.
