Above & Beyond in Boston

Above & Beyond are a British electronic music trio formed in 2000 by Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki. They play melodic, vocal-led trance and are known for the songs “Sun & Moon” and “Thing Called Love,” the album Group Therapy, and its follow-up We Are All We Need. In 2014, Above & Beyond staged ABGT100 at Madison Square Garden. They held ABGT250 at the Gorge Amphitheatre in 2017, then marked ABGT500 at Banc of California Stadium in 2022. Above & Beyond perform DJ sets centered on their own tracks and releases from Anjunabeats. For the Acoustic concerts, the three members played live instruments as part of an ensemble featuring singers including Zoë Johnston; they performed at Royal Albert Hall on the Acoustic II tour in 2016. Above & Beyond staged ABGT150 in Sydney and ABGT300 in Hong Kong, well beyond the trio’s London base.
