Adolescents in Leeds

Adolescents are an American punk band formed in Fullerton, California, in 1980 by singer Tony Reflex and bassist Steve Soto. Their self-titled 1981 debut, often called the Blue Album, established songs including “Amoeba,” “Kids of the Black Hole” and “No Way” within the Southern California hardcore repertoire. A 1986 reunion brought the original lineup to Fender’s Ballroom in Long Beach, and the performance was later documented on the live album Return to the Black Hole. Adolescents regrouped again in 2001 and returned to sustained touring in the United States and Europe. Adolescents continue to play clubs and punk festivals, including Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas and Rebellion Festival in Blackpool.
