Aimee Mann in St Louis

Aimee Mann is an American singer-songwriter and musician, born in Richmond, Virginia, in 1960. She first became known as the bassist and lead singer of ’Til Tuesday, whose signature song was “Voices Carry,” before establishing a solo career through albums including Whatever, Bachelor No. 2 and Lost in Space. Her songs also formed a central part of Paul Thomas Anderson’s film Magnolia. Live at St. Ann’s Warehouse documented her solo-era concert work at the Brooklyn venue. She later took Aimee Mann’s Christmas Show on tour as a seasonal variety production, co-hosted for several years by Michael Penn. In 2014, she toured and performed with Ted Leo behind their self-titled album as The Both.
