Albin Lee Meldau in Uppsala

Albin Lee Meldau is a Swedish singer-songwriter, born in Gothenburg in 1988, whose music draws on soul, pop and folk. He first attracted wider attention with “Lou Lou” and later released the album About You, which includes “The Weight Is Gone”; “Josefin” became another signature song. Albin Lee Meldau performed at SXSW in Austin, and his US live work later included a filmed small-ensemble set for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert in Washington, D.C., supported by keyboards, guitar and backing vocals.
