Alejandro Aranda is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Pomona, California. He finished as runner-up on the 2019 season of American Idol and also records and performs as Scarypoolparty. His alternative songs center on guitar and piano, often accompanied by electronic production; key works include “Out Loud” and the album Exit Form. In 2019, Alejandro Aranda joined the American Idol Live! tour and performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago.
