Alejandro Aranda in Salt Lake City

Alejandro Aranda is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Pomona, California. He finished as runner-up on the 2019 season of American Idol and also records and performs as Scarypoolparty. His alternative songs center on guitar and piano, often accompanied by electronic production; key works include “Out Loud” and the album Exit Form. In 2019, Alejandro Aranda joined the American Idol Live! tour and performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago. Later that year, he followed those appearances with a US headline run through clubs and theatres, performing material from Exit Form under the Scarypoolparty name.
