Alex Vargas is a Danish singer-songwriter and producer born in 1988. He writes soul-inflected electronic pop and rock, and is known for songs including “Solid Ground,” “Shackled Up” and “Higher Love,” as well as the album Cohere. Above & Beyond featured Alex Vargas as a vocalist in their acoustic concert series, including the Acoustic II tour and its 2016 performance at the Hollywood Bowl. He has also toured his own material in clubs, theatres and concert halls. His Danish festival appearances have included NorthSide and Roskilde Festival.
