Artist
Alkinoos Ioannidis is a Cypriot singer-songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist, born in Nicosia in 1969. His Greek-language repertoire encompasses entechno, folk and rock; key albums include O Dromos, O Chronos kai O Ponos, Anemodiktis and Oi Peripeteies enos Proskyniti. The 2000 live album Ektos Topou kai Chronou documented his concert at Lycabettus Theatre in Athens. In later years he developed a one-person concert built around voice, guitar, Cypriot lute and live looping. Recordings from this touring format were collected on Solo, a live album by Alkinoos Ioannidis.
