Artist
Altered Images are a Scottish new wave and pop band formed in Glasgow in 1979, fronted by singer Clare Grogan. They are best known for “Happy Birthday,” “I Could Be Happy” and “Don't Talk to Me About Love,” alongside the albums Happy Birthday, Pinky Blue and Bite. Grogan later revived the name and released Mascara Streakz. In 1980, Altered Images supported Siouxsie and the Banshees on the Kaleidoscope Tour, before playing their own headline dates during their early-1980s run. Grogan subsequently returned to the catalogue in theatres and at 1980s-focused events, including Rewind Festival.
