Sibel Can in Istanbul

Sibel Can is a Turkish singer born in Istanbul in 1970, known for pop, arabesque and fantezi music. She began her recording career with the album Günah Bize and is closely associated with songs including “Padişah,” “Berivan” and “Çakmak Çakmak.” Before making records, she performed as a dancer at Istanbul’s Maksim Gazinosu in programmes featuring singers such as Muazzez Abacı and Emel Sayın. She later established a concert career as a vocalist, including headline performances at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre.
