Shadowgrass is an American progressive bluegrass band formed in 2014 by musicians from southwestern Virginia and western North Carolina. Its self-titled debut album and the follow-up All That Will pair original songs with extended instrumental passages shaped by bluegrass and jam-band improvisation. Shadowgrass has performed at MerleFest and Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival. The band has also brought its original repertoire and improvisational approach to DelFest.
