Ana Frango Elétrico in Copenhagen

Ana Frango Elétrico is the stage name of a Brazilian singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer from Rio de Janeiro. Their music moves through art pop, MPB, funk and jazz, heard across the albums Mormaço Queima, Little Electric Chicken Heart and Me Chama de Gato Que Eu Sou Sua. Little Electric Chicken Heart received a Latin Grammy nomination, while songs including “Electric Fish” and “Mulher Homem Bicho” introduced their sharply arranged pop writing. Ana Frango Elétrico played Glastonbury Festival in 2024 in a full-band format. That ensemble approach later appeared in a Tiny Desk Concert recorded for NPR, placing the songs in the close quarters of the Tiny Desk room.
