Artists
Anders Osborne is a Swedish singer-songwriter and guitarist who settled in New Orleans in 1985. His music draws on blues rock, Americana and the city’s roots traditions, heard on albums including American Patchwork, Black Eye Galaxy and Peace. He also co-wrote “Watch the Wind Blow By,” recorded by Tim McGraw. Live at Tipitina’s documented Anders Osborne’s long association with the New Orleans club. In 2015, he joined North Mississippi Allstars as N.M.O. for the collaborative album Freedom & Dreams and toured behind the project. He has also performed repeatedly at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
Jackie Greene is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Salinas, California, in 1980. His music draws on roots rock, folk, blues and country, and his catalog includes the albums Gone Wanderin’, American Myth and Giving Up the Ghost, as well as songs such as “Honey I Been Thinking About You” and “I Don’t Live in a Dream.” In 2007, Greene joined Phil Lesh & Friends for an extended run of concerts, beginning a long association that included later reunions with the ensemble. In 2013, he took the lead-guitar role for The Black Crowes on the Lay Down with Number 13 tour.
