David Ryan Harris in Athens

David Ryan Harris is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist raised in Atlanta whose music draws on soul, blues, rock and acoustic songwriting. He fronted the Atlanta band Follow for Now before establishing a solo catalogue that includes the albums David Ryan Harris, Soulstice and Lightyears. In 2004, Harris joined John Mayer’s touring band as a guitarist and vocalist, beginning a long-running stage collaboration. The 2007 Los Angeles concert released as Where the Light Is captured Harris in Mayer’s full-band set at the Nokia Theatre.
