Ani Lorak in Batumi

Ani Lorak is a Ukrainian pop singer born in 1978 in Kitsman. She is widely known for representing Ukraine with “Shady Lady” at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, where she finished second, and for songs including “Solntse” and “Uderzhi moyo serdtse.” At Eurovision in Belgrade, Ani Lorak performed “Shady Lady” in a staged dance-pop production. She later developed the theatrical concert show DIVA: after its 2018 premiere at Minsk-Arena, the production travelled to Saint Petersburg’s Ice Palace and then to Olimpiyskiy in Moscow.
