Anna von Hausswolff in Ljubljana

Anna von Hausswolff is a Swedish singer, composer and organist born in Gothenburg in 1986. Her music places pipe organ, experimental rock and art pop around a wide-ranging voice; albums including Ceremony, The Miraculous, Dead Magic and the instrumental All Thoughts Fly established her distinctive catalogue. “The Mysterious Vanishing of Electra” is among her best-known songs. During the Ceremony period, she toured Europe opening for Swans, bringing her organ-led songs to clubs and theatres. Her full-band set from 2018 was later released as Live at Montreux Jazz Festival, documenting material from The Miraculous and Dead Magic at Montreux Jazz Festival.
