AnnenMayKantereit in Ludwigsburg

AnnenMayKantereit are a German rock band formed in Cologne in 2011 by school friends Christopher Annen, Henning May and Severin Kantereit. Their indie rock and pop songs are distinguished by Henning May’s low, rough-edged voice. The album Alles Nix Konkretes and songs including “Oft gefragt,” “Pocahontas” and “Barfuß am Klavier” brought the band a wide audience. AnnenMayKantereit began with street performances before organising their own concerts and tours. They later supported Beatsteaks on tour, moved into larger headline rooms and performed at festivals including Hurricane Festival and Rock am Ring.
