Antonello Venditti in Rosignano Solvay-Castiglioncello

Antonello Venditti is an Italian singer-songwriter and pianist, born in Rome in 1949 and associated with the city’s cantautore tradition. He first recorded with Francesco De Gregori on the album Theorius Campus, then built a solo catalogue that includes Sotto il segno dei pesci, “Roma capoccia,” “Notte prima degli esami” and “Grazie Roma.” In 1983, Venditti performed a free concert at the Circus Maximus after AS Roma won the Italian football championship, returning there when the club took the title again in 2001. In 2022, he reunited with Francesco De Gregori for a joint tour that began with a concert at Stadio Olimpico.
