Anything Box in Houston

Anything Box is an American synth-pop group formed in Paterson, New Jersey, in 1986 by Claude S., Dania Morales and Paul Rijnders. The group is best known for “Living in Oblivion,” alongside songs including “Carmen” and “Jubilation”; its early albums include Peace and Worth. In the early 1990s, Anything Box played clubs in support of Peace and Worth, using a trio setup centered on vocals, synthesizers and programmed rhythms. Concert activity later became intermittent as the lineup changed, but live appearances resumed under the Anything Box name with Claude S. as the continuing frontman.
