April + VISTA are an American alternative R&B duo formed in Washington, D.C., by vocalist and violinist April George and producer and multi-instrumentalist Matthew Thompson. Electronic production, strings and soul vocals shape releases including the EP You Are Here and the album Pit of My Dreams, as well as songs such as “FOMO” and “Own2.” The duo took You Are Here on a North American headline tour, performing the EP in club venues. They later presented their voice, violin, bass and electronic arrangements in a filmed performance for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk.
