Ara Malikian in Poblado Sancti Petri

Ara Malikian is an Armenian violinist born in Beirut in 1968 and based in Spain. Classically trained, he is known for programs that place Bach and Paganini beside Armenian and Middle Eastern music, flamenco and rock arrangements; the albums 15 and Royal Garage capture this broad repertoire. The 15 Tour concluded with an arena concert at Madrid’s WiZink Center in 2016 after an extensive run through theatres. He followed it with the Royal Garage Tour, then brought the music into more intimate rooms through the theatre-based Petit Garage tour.
