Artists
Ash Grunwald is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist from Melbourne who plays blues and roots music shaped by electric blues, rock and groove. He began releasing solo records in the early 2000s and is known for albums including Introducing Ash Grunwald, Hot Mama Vibes and Gargantua, as well as songs such as “Walking” and “Breakout.” Live at the Corner documented an early solo performance at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel, built around vocals, guitar and foot percussion. He later toured Gargantua in a trio with bassist Scott Owen and drummer Andy Strachan, the rhythm section of The Living End. He has returned to Byron Bay Bluesfest for multiple editions and has also performed at the Woodford Folk Festival.
Daniel Champagne is an Australian singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist from New South Wales. He is known for indie-folk songs shaped by percussive fingerstyle guitar, heard on recordings including The Heartland Hurricanes and Fault Lines. Daniel Champagne began performing professionally as a teenager and later took his solo voice-and-guitar set through Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. His festival appearances have included the Vancouver Folk Music Festival and the Mariposa Folk Festival.
