Artist
Attrition is a British electronic project formed in Coventry in 1980 by Martin Bowes and Julia Waller. Its darkwave, industrial and dark ambient catalogue includes the albums The Attrition of Reason, In the Realm of the Hungry Ghosts and The Jeopardy Maze, with Bowes remaining the central figure across changing line-ups. Attrition began playing concerts in Britain during the early 1980s and later toured Europe and North America. Festival appearances have included Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig and Whitby Gothic Weekend.
