About Last in Line
Last in Line is an American hard-rock and heavy-metal band formed in Los Angeles in 2012 by former Dio musicians Vivian Campbell, Vinny Appice and Jimmy Bain, joined by singer Andrew Freeman. Named after the Dio album The Last in Line, the group developed its own catalogue through Heavy Crown, II and Jericho.
The band made its live debut at the Slidebar in Fullerton in 2012, initially building its sets around songs from the first three Dio albums. After Heavy Crown, original material became a larger part of its club, theatre and festival concerts.
Andrew Freeman fronts the shows, while Campbell and Appice perform the band’s own songs alongside material they first recorded with Ronnie James Dio.
