Ayumi Hamasaki in Ichikawa

Ayumi Hamasaki is a Japanese pop singer-songwriter, born in Fukuoka in 1978, whose music spans dance-pop, electronic sounds and pop-rock. Her 1999 debut album A Song for ×× and singles including “Boys & Girls,” “SEASONS,” “M” and “evolution” established the catalogue for which she is best known. Her first nationwide concert tour, ayumi hamasaki concert tour 2000 A, was followed by ayumi hamasaki DOME TOUR 2001 A. In 2007, ayumi hamasaki ASIA TOUR 2007 A: Tour of Secret included concerts in Hong Kong, Taipei and Shanghai, while her Countdown Live shows became a year-end tradition at Yoyogi National Gymnasium. She has repeatedly played arena concerts in Tokyo and Osaka, returning to Nagoya across successive national tours.
