Bass Drum of Death in Santa Ana

Bass Drum of Death is an American garage-rock band formed by singer and guitarist John Barrett in Oxford, Mississippi, in 2008. Fuzzed guitars, direct hooks and lo-fi recording shape its garage-punk sound. Its best-known recordings include “Get Found” and “Crawling After You,” alongside the albums GB City, Bass Drum of Death and Rip This. In 2012, Bass Drum of Death performed at both Coachella and Lollapalooza. The project began with Barrett playing guitar and bass drum, while later touring lineups added bass and drums for club dates. It also toured in support of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
