Being As An Ocean in Corpus Christi

Being As An Ocean is an American melodic hardcore band formed in Alpine, California, in 2011. Their music combines post-hardcore weight, atmospheric guitar passages and Joel Quartuccio’s spoken-word delivery. The band established its sound on the album Dear G-d..., which includes “The Hardest Part Is Forgetting Those You Swore to Never Forget” and “This Loneliness Won’t Be the Death of Me,” and followed it with records including How We Both Wondrously Perish and Waiting for Morning to Come. Being As An Ocean spent the summer of 2015 performing on the Vans Warped Tour, bringing its full-band set to the festival’s North American circuit.
