Ben Nichols & Cory Branan in Montreal

Ben Nichols is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known as the frontman and principal songwriter of the Memphis alt-country band Lucero. His solo EP The Last Pale Light in the West draws on characters and imagery from Cormac McCarthy’s novel Blood Meridian, while Tennessee and That Much Further West are among his central recordings with the band. Ben Nichols joined Chuck Ragan, Tim Barry and Austin Lucas on the Revival Tour, where the performers presented their songs in an acoustic format. At his own shows, he sings and plays acoustic guitar, drawing the set from his solo work and songs he wrote for Lucero.

Cory Branan is an American singer-songwriter from Mississippi who plays alt-country, folk and rock. His catalog includes the albums The Hell You Say, Mutt, No-Hit Wonder, Adios and When I Go I Ghost, as well as songs such as “The Corner” and “Tall Green Grass.” Cory Branan joined Chuck Ragan’s The Revival Tour, a traveling songwriter revue built around individual sets and shared performances. Outside that tour, he has played clubs as a solo singer-guitarist and opened concerts for Lucero.
