14 Bis in São Paulo

14 Bis is a Brazilian band formed in Belo Horizonte in 1979, playing melodic pop rock shaped by progressive rock and the Clube da Esquina tradition. The group became known for layered vocal harmonies, prominent keyboards and songs including “Linda Juventude,” “Planeta Sonho,” “Todo Azul do Mar” and “Canção da América.” 14 Bis performed at the inaugural Rock in Rio in 1985, bringing its harmony-led repertoire to the festival’s main stage. Decades later, former member Flávio Venturini rejoined the group for anniversary performances documented by the concert project 14 Bis 30 Anos.
