Big Thief is an American indie rock band formed in Brooklyn in 2015, led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Adrianne Lenker alongside guitarist Buck Meek and drummer James Krivchenia. The band became known through albums including Masterpiece, Capacity, U.F.O.F., Two Hands and Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You, as well as songs such as “Not,” “Paul” and “Vampire Empire.” The band’s 2022 tour took its full-band performances through North American and European theatres and concert halls, including London’s Eventim Apollo. Big Thief also performed at Glastonbury that year, then headlined Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago in 2023.
