Billy Ocean in Glasgow

Billy Ocean is a Trinidad-born British pop and soul singer-songwriter, born in 1950 and raised in England. His best-known recordings include “Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run),” “When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going,” “Suddenly” and “Get Outta My Dreams, Get into My Car.” The album Suddenly established the polished pop-soul sound heard across many of his 1980s hits. In 1985, Billy Ocean performed at the Philadelphia concert of Live Aid at JFK Stadium. Decades later, he brought his full-band show to the Pyramid Stage at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival.
