Bit Brigade is an American instrumental rock band formed in Athens, Georgia, in 2004. The group is known for playing rock arrangements of complete Nintendo Entertainment System game soundtracks while a speedrunner completes the game onstage. Its repertoire includes music from Mega Man II, Contra, Castlevania and Metroid. Bit Brigade has brought this synchronized format to rock clubs and gaming conventions across North America. Each program follows a specific game in sequence, pairing the live score with a projected speedrun, and the band has presented the format repeatedly at MAGFest.
