Black Coffee in Mykonos

Black Coffee is the stage name of South African DJ and producer Nkosinathi Maphumulo, born in 1976. He plays deep, soulful house shaped by percussion and vocal songwriting. His best-known records include “Superman,” “Drive” with David Guetta and the albums Pieces of Me and Subconsciously; the latter won the Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album. In 2017, Black Coffee began a Saturday residency at Hï Ibiza, placing his extended DJ sets at the centre of the club’s summer programme. He headlined Madison Square Garden in New York in 2023. That arena concert was built around his DJ set and expanded through an orchestra, a live band and guest appearances by Bucie and Msaki.
