Black Country, New Road in Belgrade

Black Country, New Road are an English experimental rock band formed in Cambridge in 2018. Their music draws on post-rock, chamber pop and art rock, heard across the albums For the First Time and Ants from Up There and songs including “Sunglasses,” “Track X” and “Concorde.” After singer and guitarist Isaac Wood left in 2022, Tyler Hyde, May Kershaw and Georgia Ellery took lead-vocal roles on the group’s new material. During the 2022 festival season, the group returned to performing with an entirely new set, including appearances at Primavera Sound and Glastonbury Festival. In December, they presented that repertoire across three London concerts; the performances became Live at Bush Hall, released as a concert film and live album in 2023.
