Black Sherif in New York

Black Sherif is a Ghanaian singer and rapper born in 2002 whose music draws on hip-hop, hiplife and Afrobeats. He became known through “First Sermon” and “Second Sermon,” followed by “Kwaku the Traveller” and his debut album, The Villain I Never Was. In 2022, Black Sherif performed at Wireless Festival and presented his own year-end concert under the name Mozama Disco. In 2023, he performed at Coachella, then staged the next edition of his concert as Zaama Disco in Accra.
