Black Tusk in Mesa

Black Tusk are an American sludge-metal band formed in Savannah, Georgia, in 2005. Their heavy, punk-driven sound runs through albums including Passage Through Purgatory, Taste the Sin, Set the Dial and Pillars of Ash, as well as songs such as “Red Eyes, Black Skies” and “God’s on Vacation.” Black Tusk played Roadburn Festival in Tilburg in 2011 as their touring expanded to European stages. They have also undertaken club tours with bands including Red Fang, while later European festival appearances included Hellfest in Clisson.
