About Blu & Exile

Blu & Exile are an American hip-hop duo formed by Los Angeles rapper Blu and producer Exile. They are best known for their 2007 debut album, Below the Heavens, whose soulful, sample-based production frames songs including “Dancing in the Rain” and “The World Is (Below the Heavens).” Their other collaborative albums include Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them and Miles.

In 2017, Blu & Exile took Below the Heavens on a tenth-anniversary tour and performed the album in full. They later returned to the record for a 15th-anniversary run, again building their joint set around Below the Heavens.
