Bob Schneider is an American singer-songwriter based in Austin, Texas, whose music draws on rock, pop and folk. After fronting the Ugly Americans and the Scabs, he established a solo catalog that includes the album Lonelyland and the songs “Big Blue Sea,” “Metal & Steel” and “40 Dogs (Like Romeo and Juliet).” The Scabs played a recurring weekly engagement at Antone’s before Bob Schneider focused on his solo work. He has since returned to the Saxon Pub for a long-running Monday-night residency.
