Boiler Room in London

Boiler Room is a British music broadcaster and live-event series founded by Blaise Bellville in London in 2010. It is known for filming DJ sets and live performances in crowded, intimate spaces, covering house, techno, experimental electronic music, hip-hop and related club styles. The first broadcasts came from a boiler room in Hackney, where a webcam captured DJs playing to a small invited audience. Boiler Room later staged and streamed sessions in clubs, warehouses and festival spaces; its recorded history includes Kaytranada’s 2013 set in Montreal and Fred again..’s 2022 appearance. The series has also recorded sets during Dekmantel in Amsterdam.
