Bonnie Raitt in Westport

Bonnie Raitt is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in Burbank, California, in 1949, whose music draws on blues, rock, folk and country. Her expressive vocals and slide-guitar playing became central to albums including Nick of Time, which won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, and Luck of the Draw, home to “Something to Talk About” and “I Can’t Make You Love Me.” Bonnie Raitt performed at the 1979 No Nukes benefit concerts at Madison Square Garden. Her 1995 live album Road Tested later documented her full-band concert repertoire. The Dig In Deep Tour followed the release of its namesake album in 2016, and the Just Like That... Tour began in 2022 with further theatre and amphitheatre performances.
