Brass-A-Holics are an American band formed in New Orleans by trombonist Winston Turner. They play New Orleans brass-band music over the insistent grooves of Washington, D.C. go-go, a sound the group calls go-go brass funk. Their recordings include the album Word on the Street. Brass-A-Holics have performed at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, using a stage lineup that places horns alongside guitar, bass, drums and percussion. Their home-city festival appearances also include the French Quarter Festival.
