Artist
Brothers of Metal are a Swedish heavy metal band formed in Falun in 2012. They play power metal built around Norse mythology, and are known for the albums Prophecy of Ragnarök and Emblas Saga, as well as songs including “Yggdrasil” and “The Mead Song.” Brothers of Metal played Sabaton Open Air in Falun before appearing at Wacken Open Air in 2023. These festival performances placed material from their first two albums before large European metal audiences. The band performs as an eight-piece ensemble. Its vocal front line features Ylva Eriksson, Mats Nilsson and Joakim Lindbäck Eriksson, backed by two guitars, bass and drums.
