Old Crow Medicine Show & Sawyer Brown in West Fargo

Old Crow Medicine Show is an American string band formed in Harrisonburg, Virginia, in 1998. The group plays old-time country, bluegrass and folk, and is best known for “Wagon Wheel,” written by Ketch Secor around an unfinished Bob Dylan song. Its albums include O.C.M.S. and Remedy, which received the Grammy Award for Best Folk Album. In 2000, Doc Watson heard the group busking outside Boone Drug in North Carolina and invited them to perform at MerleFest. The band made its Grand Ole Opry debut in 2001 and became a member in 2013. In 2016, they performed Blonde on Blonde in full at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, a concert later released as 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde.

Sawyer Brown is an American country and country-rock band formed in Apopka, Florida, in 1981. Fronted by Mark Miller, the group became widely known after winning the televised talent competition Star Search in 1984. Its best-known songs include “Step That Step,” “The Walk,” “Some Girls Do” and “Thank God for You.” The 1984 Star Search run introduced Sawyer Brown as a live act to a national television audience. The band then spent decades performing at fairs, festivals, theatres and casinos, a road history documented in the film Get Me to the Stage on Time. Its concert record also includes appearances at the Grand Ole Opry.
