Cancerslug in Grand Junction

Cancerslug is an American horror-punk band formed in Huntsville, Alabama, in 1999 by singer and songwriter Alex Story. Its catalog combines punk rock and deathrock, and includes the albums Beating a Dead Whore, Seasons of Sickness and Sassy for Satan, as well as songs such as “Dick Solid” and “Women of the Wasteland.” Cancerslug has toured the United States through clubs and independent punk venues, using a changing supporting lineup around its founder. Concerts feature a full electric band and material drawn from across the group’s releases, led by the vocals of Alex Story.
