Carolyn Wonderland in Saratoga Springs

Carolyn Wonderland is an American blues-rock singer, songwriter and guitarist from Houston. Her catalog includes the albums Miss Understood, Peace Meal and Tempting Fate, records built around her vocals, electric guitar and Texas blues roots. Carolyn Wonderland began performing in Houston clubs as a teenager and later fronted the Imperial Monkeys. After moving to Austin in 1999, she played clubs with her own band and toured behind her solo records. In 2018 she joined John Mayall’s touring band as lead guitarist, becoming the first woman to hold that role in his band, and performed with him until he retired from touring in 2021.
