Catie Curtis in Ogunquit

Catie Curtis is an American singer-songwriter from Saco, Maine, whose acoustic folk and folk-rock work is closely associated with the Boston folk scene. She became known through albums including Catie Curtis and A Crash Course in Roses, as well as songs such as “Radical” and “Kiss That Counted.” The 1997 Lilith Fair tour featured Curtis, and she later toured with Mary Chapin Carpenter and Dar Williams. She also performed at White House events during Barack Obama’s presidency. After a planned 2017 farewell tour tied to While We’re Here, she returned for selected concerts.
